Nature in focus: Last Call for Photo Competition 2023

Until 30 September, children and young people between 7 and 18 years of age in Bavaria are invited to discover nature on a photo safari and submit their photos for the photo competition Nature in Focus 2023.

This year there are two thematic categories for the choice of motifs: Category A "Flowers, Blossoms, Pollinators" is dedicated to Bavaria's nature in full bloom - in reference to the "Flower Power Festival Munich 2023" - and those who ensure this diversity: the pollinators from bees to butterflies. Category B focuses on "Forests, Meadows, Wilderness" and the search for different habitats and their inhabitants.

Finally, a jury of experts will select the best pictures from among the entries. It is not about technical perfection and optimal equipment, but about exciting motifs and picture compositions - and above all creativity. The prizes will be awarded in three age groups - 7 to 10 years, 11 to 14 years and 15 to 18 years. The awards ceremony is expected to take place in early 2024.
