Naturkundemuseum Bayern serves the whole of Bavaria. The concept is not limited to the Nymphenburg site, but will bring together museums, educational and research institutions throughout Bavaria. The goal is a network that promotes life sciences and natural sciences with innovative approaches in all regions of Bavaria - the network idea is thus an integral part of the project.

The Museum Mensch und Natur and BIOTOPIA Lab are constantly launching exciting new special exhibitions or bringing them to Bavaria. The exhibitions then tour the Free State, reaching an even larger audience. Exhibits, objects and research results from all over Bavaria are also shown in the Munich exhibitions.
